A chain crash during the men's Omnium (160 laps of pure endurance) caused by our own Mark Cavendish unseated the South Korean cyclist, Sanghoon Park who in turn took out another two riders! The astounding thing was that the fallen Italian rider Elia Viviani, managed to get up and go on to win gold! The women's elimination was just a joy to watch with Laura Trott emerging as the queen of the track! And whilst he may not be British, watching Usain Bolt win his 7th Gold Medal reminded me of when we were lucky enough to see him win his 6th in the 2012 London games. That was the year of his iconic stance 'The Bolt' and I even managed to get a Beefeater swept up in Bolt-fever at the Tower of London! The thing we love about the Olympics is not the glory nor gold, but the excellent example of team work and dedication it gives to the world. Good team work can make a place of work actually feel like a home-from-home and that's what we strive for at Selah. Indeed we welcomed a new member to our team today, who was carefully watched over by one of our oldest hands...A Yoda to his Luke Skywalker if you will, teaching him the ways of the (coffee) force. So here's to you Team GB! Keep calm and win more medals! And to our customers, Go For Gold with our Individual Lemon Drizzle 'Medals' - they're definitely more edible than the Rio ones! ♥Selah P.S. We thought we'd just add in what is, in our opinion, the best photo to come out of Rio 2016 yet.... Still cool at 36.7kmh,,,
